Not so fast! On Wednesday, May 27, Mackenzie Douthit took a break from her weight lifting and bodybuilding to set the record straight about the rumors surrounding her boob job.
The Teen Mom 3 alum, 20, was accused of asking fans for money for her upcoming surgery. Speaking to Wetpaint Entertainment, Douthit clarified the claims, noting, “I did not have fans pay for it. It was a miscommunication. All of a sudden, all these articles were written about me that I was asking fans [for money] so I instantly got that site deleted the same day. I had no clue I was asking people to pay.”
The rumors started when a fan asked if they could announce that the former reality star was planning to get a boob job. After the mom of two gave the person her blessing, a crowdfunding site was created.
“I was like, ‘No, no, that’s not what I want. I’m going to pay for them!’” she explained.

“After I nursed the kids, I became very flat,” she revealed. “I can’t even wear a training bra because there’s a gap in it and it’s really bad. I don’t want these ridiculous honkers to go to the club with. I want to always respect my husband [Josh McKee], but I do want to have a mom figure. I want to look like a mom and a woman. I get told I look like a 12-year-old boy a lot because I’m a muscle head with no boobs.”
Douthit frequently posts photos online of herself in bikinis and sports bras at the gym, including one in April showing off her guns with her husband McKee.
“‘Your arms need to be as big as mine’ he said#swolemate #fitfam #fitcouple #fitmom,” she captioned the photo of herself in a tight sports bra at the time.
But it wasn’t just followers criticizing Douthit for her supposed fan fundraising. Fellow MTV star Farrah Abraham, who currently appears on Teen Mom OG, also lashed out at Douthit, telling TMZ the mother of two should work hard to raise the money for her own breast augmentation.
“She’s calling me out on my one surgery when she’s had multiple surgeries,” Douthit said of Abraham. “She didn’t even know the truth, and she calls me lazy and a mooch. She’s just a rude person.”
